New look

We have been working on our area near the bar and now have a great new look! Come and have a drink and see what you think of our new contemporary look.

The Stag's Head is a traditional country pub situated in Great Warford Cheshire, with a beautiful landscape and yet only a 5 minute drive from the villages of Alderley Edge and Wilmslow. The pub provides an ideal location for refreshments en route for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. Dogs and horses welcome as well! You can even tether your horses on our grassed area where you can sit & enjoy a drink whilst they munch the grass! There is ample car parking, so why not use the Stag's Head as the starting point for you to enjoy the Cheshire countryside?

As part of our new and ongoing refurbishment at The Stag's Head, we are creating a more sophisticated approach to pub grub making you feel at home and able to enjoy good company with a refreshing drink and great food!

We still maintain a country pub atmosphere whilst offering excellent food, wines, cask ales and champagne. Table service is available both inside and outside.

The Stag's Head serves traditional British food, at value for money prices. Our focus is to use only the freshest of locally sourced produce to provide good quality home cooked food, including traditional favourites, created by our chef, Jonathan, and served by our professional staff.

Choose from our extensive menu and our blackboard specials in small, cosy dining rooms in front of coal log fires or enjoy the sun on our fabulous new and inviting decked area, which overlooks the country terrain amongst our lovely, well kept gardens. We also provide a free WiFi facility.

The Stag's Head is also the perfect venue for your party – whatever the occasion (wedding, birthday or christening) and whether you want a private barbeque, buffet or formal dinner, we can cater for you.

We welcome children to enjoy our fun colouring packs and the outdoor garden space, where we can provide play equipment, including a sandpit and football nets, while you sit nearby enjoying the garden. We ask that parents please take responsibility for their children at all times.
