...at the Stag's Head Great Warford. Our chef Jonathan has created an extensive menu using locally sourced produce to offer a range of home cooked dishes, including many traditional favourites. Choose a tasty favourite such as Homemade Steak and Ale Pie with Fresh Market Vegetables & Chips, or following our ethos to create a more sophisticated approach to pub grub, from October onwards each year we also offer home cooked meals based on local game birds. For just £11.95 you can enjoy delicious game dishes, such as Roasted Pheasant with Thyme and Garlic, served with Bubble & Squeak and Woodland Mushrooms, or Local Game Pie with partridge and pheasant.

... and for something sweet to finish your meal we have a daily changing desserts board. So one day you might find a Chocolate Torte and on another Chocolate Brownies, or Chocolate Mousse and other delicious desserts to suit the season, such as Crème Brûlée and Spiced Apple and Sultana Crumble.

We also offer our blackboard specials, sandwiches till 2.30pm and tapas bar snacks 5 - 7pm. Monday to Saturday we serve our great value Stag's Head £10 Lunch Special - please see our Food Offers below for details and Sundays we serve roast dinners till 7pm.
